How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
As a Management Accounting Analyst for the Cluster North America, you will be a key member of the new Center of Excellence Management Accounting & Reporting, and will be an instrumental part of the Operations Control team of the Cluster.
Reporting to the Director, COE Management Accounting & Reporting, you will work hand in hand with the Operations Control teams, the Reporting analyst, the Record to Report team of the BSC, and the Billing teams.
This position will give you a unique, transversal view into the accounting and financial processes of the Air Liquide North American Cluster, working with different teams in several geographies. It will also give you a strong exposure to the Air Liquide business model, encompassing several business lines.
As an original member of the COE Management Accounting & Reporting, your role will be instrumental in setting up strong processes and shaping a dynamic and open team culture.
Responsibilities
Oversee and manage accounting processes and ensure adherence to IFRS standards.
Managing Journal Entries in the ERPs in order to finalize the Accounting, ensuring proper booking of sales and costs in the appropriate Cost Centers, and run and revise sales and costs allocation rules in coordination with Operations Control.
Work alongside projects and investments control to identify and transfer costs to be capitalized into the system (testing, projects...).
Manage Intracompany and Intercompany invoices, Inventories Variances, Perimeter Effects, Standard Prices.
Work alongside the accounting and financial accounting team to compute and account for external cost allocations (IT, HR, corporate, BSC…), sales and costs allocation by product lines, SBLs and cost centers, Transfer Prices Calculation.
Monitor the ERP Referentials: Accounts, Costs/Profit Centers.
Stay up-to-date on accounting regulations and industry trends.
Work in a transverse capacity, supporting the BL controllers of the NAM Cluster.
Analyze and ensure accuracy of financial results until Operating Income, with an understanding of results by business unit and/or sub business line. Support Ops Control in the identification of variances between Actuals and Forecasts.
Support Operations Control in supporting ad-hoc requests.
Are you a MATCH?
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or actively pursuing CPA license (preferred).
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in managerial accounting or a similar role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.
Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
Experience with Oracle and Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, Docs, etc.)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
