What role will you play in our teamResponsible for planning and executing end-to-end supply logistics and is responsible for the movements via various methods of transportation (pipeline, marine, rail, truck) and may also manage inventory (primarily in pipelines, rail cars, trucks, vessels and terminals).
What you will doCoordinates with traders, optimizers, refineries to forecast and plan supply schedules in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentUses commercial judgment and problem solving skills to solve operational problemsPartners with trading and optimization to identify and capture market opportunitiesDevelops and executes schedules for movement of product via pipeline, marine, rail, and/or truck based on projected production and customer demand.Nominates requirements to pipeline, marine, rail, or truck carriers; nominates inspectors to test vessels/tanks; interacts with third parties daily to execute product movementsManages inventory to agreed targets, while maintaining reliability to refinery, marketing and third-party customersSupports development and implementation of cost-effective solutions to planned and unplanned supply disruptionsDevelops deep understanding of optimization, logistics, market conditions, operational costs, and contract terms.Ensures adherence to credit guidelines, regulatory and quality compliance, and transportation policies (i.e. vessel screening process)Serves as key interface between accounting and the business line ensuring third parties are paid accurately and timelyAbout youExperience in any of the following is strongly recommended:
Scheduling or coordinating bulk liquids or gas movementsRefining, pipeline or chemicals operations experienceExperience in SAP, Analysis for Office, and/or Tableau is a plusKnowledge of rail operations considered an assetAble and willing to respond to after-hours callsStrong analytical and problem solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail and concern for accuracyCustomer focused and have ability to build relationshipsFlexible/adaptable, collaborative and work well in teamsStrong sense drive and motivation, and continuous improvement mindsetAn ExxonMobil career is one designed to last.
