Child Care Receptionist, Bentonville AR, Little Squiggles

Join our Bright Horizons family as a Receptionist , where your strong communication skills and welcome presence will have a meaningful impact on the lives of children, families, and staff. As the first point of contact for our center or school, you will play a critical role in creating a positive, professional, and safe environment for everyone who enters our doors.

Schedule available: 9 AM – 6 PM, Monday through Friday

In this role, you will manage front desk communications, support administrative operations, and help ensure the safety and supervision of children, all while building strong relationships with families and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Welcome families and visitors while managing incoming phone calls and inquiries in a courteous, professional manner.

• Track student attendance and ensure all files are current, confidential, and secure.

• Provide support where needed throughout the center.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED is required.

• Associate degree is preferred.

• Must meet all applicable federal and state requirements, which may include TB testing, physical exam, and OSHA training.

Location

This position requires in-person work in the Bentonville, AR area.

Physical Requirements

• May lift, move, or hold children with a range of weight from 10 to 40 pounds; occasionally lift, move, or hold weight more than 40 pounds.

• Supervise and interact daily with children outdoors for extended periods in varied weather conditions.

• Demonstrate full range of motion to lift, reach, squat, climb, sit, and otherwise fully participate in activities.

• Respond immediately and appropriately to multiple or unexpected situations or emergencies.

• Maintain mental and physical alertness and an appropriate level of energy to perform essential job requirements.

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is between $12.87 – $17.37 per hour. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on factors such as experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.
