Social Media Specialist (AI-Native)

We're looking for a Social Media Specialist to own organic content and execute the founder-led social strategy for a fast-moving digital health startup. You will script, edit, and post short-form content primarily on Instagram, with the same content cross-posted to TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook. You will also manage community engagement in comments, run Meta ad experiments, and use AI tools as a core part of how you work every day.

This is an organic-first role. The primary focus is executing a consistent, high-quality content cadence that matches the tone of the brand and its community of adults aged 30 to 45 dealing with chronic health conditions. Content quality here is not about heavy production — it is about authenticity, consistency, and the kind of mature, trustworthy voice that resonates with people who have been let down by the healthcare system. What You'll Work On

Founder-Led Organic Content

• Script, edit, and post founder-led short-form content on Instagram as the primary platform
• Cross-post the same content to TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook consistently
• Warm up and grow the founder's social accounts through consistent posting and active engagement
• Engage with users in comments to build community and maintain a responsive, authentic brand presence
• Match the tone and voice of the brand and its audience — mature, trustworthy, and real, not performative or over-produced

Meta Ads

• Run Meta ad experiments to test messaging and content performance
• Research winning competitor content and use findings to inform ad creative
• Script, edit, and manage ad creative from brief through to launch
• Analyze ad performance and report on results with clear, actionable insights

AI-Native Workflow

• Use AI tools including Claude and other platforms as a core part of daily workflow, not as an afterthought
• Apply AI to speed up scripting, content ideation, performance analysis, and reporting
• Continuously identify ways to use AI to move faster and produce better output

Performance Tracking and Reporting

• Track organic content performance across platforms and report on engagement, reach, and growth
• Measure the performance of ad experiments and attribute results clearly
• Use data to make informed decisions about content direction and cadence

What You Bring

• Proven track record in organic social media content with demonstrated results across Instagram and TikTok
• Strong short-form video scripting and editing skills with the ability to produce content that matches an established brand voice
• Genuinely AI-native — you use Claude, ChatGPT, or similar tools daily to work faster and produce better output
• Analytical and data-driven with the ability to measure content performance and attribute results accurately
• Experience running Meta ad campaigns including creative testing and performance analysis
• Mature content sensibility with the ability to write and produce for an adult audience aged 30 to 45 without defaulting to trend-chasing or over-produced aesthetics
• Demonstrated results in previous roles — you can show what you built and what it did
• Full-time availability and the ability to maintain a consistent posting cadence independently

Nice to Have

• Experience in digital health, wellness, or a mission-driven consumer brand
• Familiarity with community management across health or chronic condition audiences
• Experience with UGC creator sourcing or influencer coordination (not a current priority but useful long-term)
• Background in founder-led content strategy or personal brand building
