PROPERTY CUSTODIAN / SAFETY OFFICER

Job Summary:

The Property Custodian / Safety Officer at Toyota Iligan City is responsible for safeguarding the dealership's physical assets and ensuring a safe and compliant working environment. This dual-role position combines property management with safety oversight to protect both the dealership's investments and the well-being of its employees.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain an accurate inventory of all dealership assets, including equipment, tools, and facilities.
2. Keep comprehensive records of asset details, such as purchase dates, maintenance history, and depreciation.
3. Schedule and oversee maintenance and repair activities for equipment and facilities.
4. Coordinate with external service providers and suppliers for repairs and replacements.
5. Implement security measures to protect assets from theft, damage, or unauthorized access.
6. Monitor and maintain access control systems and security protocols.
7. Oversee space allocation, including office layouts and storage areas.
8. Ensure efficient use of space and implement changes as needed.
9. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, standards, and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
10. Conduct safety audits and inspections to identify and rectify potential hazards.
11. Develop and deliver safety training programs to employees, covering topics such as emergency response, fire safety, and accident prevention.
12. Promote safety awareness and best practices among the staff.
13. Establish procedures for reporting and investigating workplace accidents, injuries, or safety violations.
14. Document and analyze incidents to prevent recurrence.
15. Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures, including fire drills and evacuation plans.
16. Ensure that emergency equipment and systems are operational.
