About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Email Developer to join a high-performing lifecycle marketing team within a global performance marketing company.

This role is fully focused on execution and development, responsible for building and deploying dynamic, data-driven email campaigns across multiple brands and ESP platforms. You will work closely with internal marketing and lifecycle teams to ensure campaigns are properly coded, personalized, and optimized for performance.

This is not a strategy or client-facing role — it is a technical position for someone who enjoys coding and working with complex email systems and data logic.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and code responsive email templates using HTML and CSS, ensuring compatibility across devices and email clients

• Build and maintain dynamic email content, including personalization and conditional logic

• Work with lifecycle campaigns and customer journeys, including updates and optimizations of existing flows

• Implement and manage data-driven logic, including working with data extensions and segmentation rules

• Support campaign deployment and ensure quality across multiple ESP platforms

• Troubleshoot rendering, logic, and deliverability issues

• Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, lifecycle, analytics) to execute campaign requirements

What You’ll Be Working With

• Multiple brands within a single business unit, each with:

  • Unique templates

  • Data structures

  • Campaign logic

• Complex lifecycle journeys involving:

  • Query-based segmentation

  • Dynamic personalization

  • Conditional logic within emails

  • Data updates and automation workflows

Requirements

Must-Have

• Strong experience with HTML and CSS, specifically for email development

• Experience building responsive emails and handling cross-client rendering

• Experience working with Email Service Providers (ESPs) such as:

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud (preferred)

  • Braze

  • Klaviyo

  • or similar

• Understanding of dynamic content and personalization logic

• Ability to work with structured data in email campaigns

Nice to Have

• Experience with AMPscript (2+ years preferred) or similar scripting languages

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL (queries, joins, data extraction concepts)

• Experience with API integrations and automation workflows

• Experience working with lifecycle marketing / CRM campaigns

What Success Looks Like

• 30 days: Understand campaign structure, tools, and workflows

• 60 days: Actively coding and supporting campaign execution

• 90 days: Working independently and managing tasks with minimal oversight

Interview Process

• English and typing assessment

• Recruiter screening (may be skipped depending on profile)

• Technical interview with the Email Marketing team

• Take-home coding assignment

• Final interview with leadership (and CEO for senior profiles)

Important Notes

• This is a fully on-site role in Bogotá (Monday to Friday)

• No flexibility for remote or hybrid work

• The role requires strong technical email development skills — not a marketing or strategy-focused position
