The Role: Safety, Environment and Real Estate Officer

What will you do?

  1. Responsible for the research, coordination, implementation, and management of health, safety, and environmental issues including waste disposal, air/water quality, pollution control, hazardous waste, and the safety of APC’s structural, mechanical, civil, and electrical management.
  2. Prepares permit applications and performs health, safety, and environmental regulatory reviews.
  3. Performs periodic inspections of facility operations, participates in reviews of other facilities' health, safety, and environmental activities, and participates in audits.
  4. Develops and maintains appropriate documentation to assure compliance with governmental regulations and ESHMS.
  5. Conduct training regarding Fire Safety, Accident Prevention, Occupational Safety and Health Programs, and Electrical Safety, and formulate and implement safety policies, rules, procedures, and standards.
  6. Manage the implementation of the Environmental Sustainability and Energy Conservation Project to align with ISO 50001 requirement.

Who would be successful?

  1. Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in an Engineering course, preferably a Civil Engineer or Electrical Engineer.
  2. With Manufacturing Safety background is desirable.
  3. With a minimum of five (5) years of relevant working experience in implementing environment, safety, and health programs gained from a manufacturing, semiconductor, or electronics company.
  4. Knowledgeable in environmental sustainability program.
  5. Trained PCO and DOLE Qualified Safety Officer 3.
  6. Minimal background in facility maintenance.
  7. Excellent communication and people management skills.
  8. An independent contributor with excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  9. Must be amenable to work in Rosario, Cavite.
  10. Working arrangements: 5x a week Onsite, Full time.
