Medical Data Review Manager (Rehumatology)

IQVIA seeks a Medical Data Review Manager with rheumatology certification to evaluate clinical trial patient data for medical plausibility, protocol adherence, and completeness. The home-based position requires physician-level expertise and involves coordinating with clinical sites and internal teams across a global scope.
Responsibilities
- Review structured clinical patient data for medical plausibility and protocol adherence without direct chart access
- Identify data anomalies and investigate accuracy issues with clinical sites
- Verify inclusion/exclusion criteria, dosing records, adverse events, and medication information for protocol compliance
- Review laboratory results for completeness, schedule adherence, and unreported safety conditions
- Ensure proper documentation of end-of-treatment and end-of-study information and collaborate with medical review staff on data verification
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Medicine with completed specialization in Rheumatology (mandatory)
- 5+ years clinical research experience at research sites, CROs, or pharmaceutical companies
- Advanced English proficiency with strong communication skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacology, anatomy, and physiology
- Experience as Sub-Investigator or Principal Investigator preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder relationship skills
