Lead Revenue Accountant

This position involves supervising revenue accounting transactions, general ledger entries, in-depth contract analysis, and steering month-end close activities. You will spearhead accounting operations for the LATAM region while operating in a global financial setting aligned with international financial reporting standards.

You will serve as a vital member of our Revenue Accounting team, guiding collaboration with colleagues across multiple countries, coaching team members, and assuming ownership of region-specific accounting processes and transactions.

Manage and own GL entries, including revenue, accruals, deferrals, and reclassifications, ensuring accuracy and compliance Lead the assessment of complex client contracts and validate financial terms to identify the appropriate accounting treatment Supervise invoice issuance and the recording of related accounting entries in line with client contracts Drive month-end close procedures and secure timely delivery of results Serve as the primary point of contact for annual and interim audit requests Act as a senior liaison with customers and business stakeholders via email or telephone Guarantee the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of accounting records and supporting documentation Coordinate and align regional and local teams on LATAM-specific invoicing and accounting documentation requirements Spot opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the creation of best practices Mentor and offer guidance to junior team members Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance Minimum 1 year of relevant leadership experience Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting concepts Proficiency in Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including formulas and pivot tables Capability to take ownership of end-to-end accounting processes Skills in written and spoken English at B2+ level Competency in Spanish suitable for daily work within the LATAM region Understanding of local invoicing and accounting documentation requirements in Latin American countries Capability to rapidly absorb new processes, master new tools, and share knowledge with the team Expertise in organization, leadership, and multitasking, with the capacity to meet deadlines in a dynamic work setting Familiarity with IFRS and/or US GAAP Background in hands-on work with SAP or another ERP system Showcase of experience in a multinational company or shared services environment Qualifications in mentoring or leading accounting professionals previously
