About the team: Our team serves as the financial planning and analytics center of excellence for Walmart U.S., delivering precise forecasts, actionable insights, and enterprise‑wide financial guidance to support key business decisions. We collaborate across functions to enhance forecast accuracy, streamline planning processes, and increase visibility into performance. The team designs and implements automation and scalable tools to reduce manual tasks, enabling focus on strategic priorities. Beyond reporting, we identify process improvements and lead executive‑level financial discussions, providing in-depth analysis and forward‑looking insights that drive informed decision‑making and better business outcomes at scale.

What you’ll do

• Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes to support business goals and growth initiatives.
• Analyze financial and business data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities impacting performance.
• Develop predictive models and scenario analyses to inform strategic decision‑making.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align financial plans with organizational objectives.
• Communicate financial insights and recommendations clearly to stakeholders at various levels.
• Oversee month‑end close activities ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes through automation and data governance.

• Annual salary range: $60,000.00 – $110,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and may include stock compensation for certain positions.
• Education benefit program for full‑time and part‑time associates in Walmart and Sam’s Club facilities covering high school completion to bachelor’s degrees, including English Language Learning and short‑form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are paid in full by Walmart.

Minimum Qualifications

Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related area and 1 year’s experience in financial planning and analysis or related area.

Option 2: 3 years’ experience in financial planning and analysis or related area.

Preferred Qualifications

Leading cross‑functional teams, Master’s degree in finance, business, or related area.
