Job Summary:

We are seeking an analyst with strong quantitative orientation and analytical capability to join our team. This role focuses on the construction, maintenance, and review of complex financial models for investment decision-making and business valuation analysis.

Main Responsibilities:

• Financial Modeling: Design, develop, and update complex financial models (P&L projections, Cash Flow, scenario and sensitivity models) to evaluate corporate performance.
• Financial Statement Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analysis of financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow) to identify trends, risks, and operational or investment opportunities.
• Technical Reporting: Prepare detailed research reports that synthesize financial modeling findings, clearly explaining value drivers and the assumptions used.
• Argument Defense: Ability to defend and justify valuations and projections before internal committees, senior stakeholders, or clients under critical questioning.
• Strategic Support: Assist in evaluating the viability of expansion projects, M&A (Mergers & Acquisitions), and other capital alternatives, providing precise quantitative data.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of demonstrable experience in Valuation, Financial Modeling, Equity Research, or Corporate Finance.

Technical Skills:

• Advanced Excel proficiency (model construction, complex formulas, handling large data volumes).
• Solid understanding of M&A and LBO concepts, financial accounting and financial statement analysis.
• Deep knowledge of valuation techniques.

Competencies:

• Ability to communicate complex analytical concepts in a concise and precise manner.
• Excellent writing and communication skills in Spanish and English (advanced/bilingual proficiency is mandatory).
• Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
• Availability to work in high-demand environments with tight deadlines.

Education (Desirable):

• Degree in Economic Sciences (Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance).
• Certifications or postgraduate degrees (CFA level 1 or higher, Master in Finance, MBA) will be highly valued.
• Professional working proficiency in English and Spanish languages are a must.
• Strong understanding of core finance and accounting concepts.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate analytical thoughts in a crisp, concise and precise manner.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to participate/contribute as a team player.
• Should be willing to put in the extra hours when tight deadlines need to be met.
